Kate and Jeremy’s joyful wedding at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA was absolutely gorgeous. I photographed Kate’s brother Brian, and his wife, Sarah at The Log Cabin in 2021. It was time for her own wedding and Kate remembered me and reached out to connect. I was truly thrilled! We had an amazing time capturing their summer engagement photos in Grafton, MA, and knowing the wonderful family vibes, I couldn’t wait for their big day—it promised to be a blast and unforgettable.
Our day began with their first look outside, framed by tall green hedges. Jeremy could barely contain his excitement as Kate approached—he was eager to see his bride! After their sweet first look and some family photos, we captured gorgeous portraits of just the two of them in the golden setting sun.

With the 4:30 PM ceremony and fading daylight, there had been a debate about moving it indoors. Kate and I had monitored the light for weeks! She ultimately chose to embrace the fading daylight with the help of some off camera flash. Kate and Jeremy made the perfect call, it was a beautiful ceremony absolutely enhanced by the soft light of the fading sun. Kate and Jeremy greeted guests with hot cider and candles, creating a warm, cozy, and romantic atmosphere.

The couple followed the short and sweet sunset ceremony with a warm and lively cocktail hour. Kate and Jeremy’s daughter was brought to the venue in one of the sweetest moments of the night. She was dressed in the coziest and cutest pajamas! She shared some snuggles with mom and dad on their special day and took a few photos with them. After some hugs and kisses and their daughter safely on her way out the door, the reception festivities got into full swing.
The evening kicked off with Kate and Jeremy’s first dance, followed by heartfelt speeches and a delicious dinner. The formalities wrapped up with a fun father-daughter dance and cake cutting, paving the way for a packed dance floor. Guests celebrated well into the night, their smiles and energy lighting up the room.
We slipped outside for nighttime portraits—a quiet moment for Kate and Jeremy to pause and soak it all in!
Kate and Jeremy, thank you so much for trusting me to photograph your incredible day, in addition to welcoming me back in to your family for the night. From the very beginning to the end, it was truly an honor. I had an amazing time celebrating with you and your wonderful family and friends!
