Chocksett Inn Sterling MA Wedding
It was a cold day in February for Olivia and Brian’s Chocksett Inn Sterling, MA wedding. Their day was full of emotion, love, and a lot of personal touches. They were married in the gorgeous Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester, MA, which is Olivia’s family church. Built in the mid 1920’s, its stained glass windows and devine architecture made for a stunning backdrop for their nuptials.
After their ceremony and some family photos at the altar, we headed to the couple’s alma mater, WPI, while the majority of their guests headed on to the Chocksett Inn for cocktail hour. Brian and Olivia met at WPI when they were in college, so it was important to them to get some photographs there. They showed me the hall where the two of them had officially met and I was able to see both of their inscribed bricks on the walkway that commemorated their time there. We even recreated a few photos they took when they graduated together! Once we captured some beautiful photos of their wedding party, their parents, and of course, the two of them, we headed over to the Chocksett Inn to join their guests for their fun filled reception.
An Inn that has a Quaint Feel with the air of “Olde New England”
Olivia and Brian were to be married in the winter due to air force constraints. They did not want to have their celebration in a hotel convention center and needed room for their expected 200 guests. Chocksett Inn was ideal for them in atmosphere and location. They wanted a traditional but fun and cozy atmosphere for their wedding, and I think they achieved just that! They had an after party in the Chocksett’s Cellar Grille, which had karaoke set up!
Olivia + Brian, it was such an honor working with you guys and your families. By the end of the day I felt like I was a part of your crew! Thank you so much for having me and MY crew.
