Asha and Tom’s New Hampshire wedding last fall was absolutely stunning. It was relaxed, intimate, and deeply personal, exactly as they had envisioned. Their day took place at Asha’s parents’ property, a meaningful location filled with memories and love, not just for Asha and Tom, but also for Asha’s daughter, Ellie.
Asha and Tom first met during residency, where a friendship slowly grew into something more. That sense of ease and connection carried through every part of their wedding day.
My second photographer, Sage, and I began the morning with Asha, Ellie, and a few close friends on the top floor of the farmhouse. The space was filled with laughter, conversation, and an unmistakable sense of calm as everyone got ready together. These are always some of my favorite moments to photograph, when the day feels unhurried and everyone is simply present.

After capturing details and getting ready moments, Sage joined Tom as he prepared for the day ahead. Asha and Tom shared their first look in the bright afternoon sun in front of the barn, a quiet moment that felt joyful and grounding all at once.

Guests gathered for the ceremony with sunscreen in hand and sweeping views of the property stretching out behind the altar. Asha and Tom walked down the aisle together, exchanged heartfelt vows, and even sang a Mennonite hymn during the ceremony. It was such a beautiful and personal touch, and one that clearly meant a lot to them and their families.

After the ceremony, we headed into the woods for portraits, surrounded by tall birch trees that made for the most peaceful and stunning backdrop. The light filtering through the trees was perfect, and the quiet of the woods gave Asha and Tom a little space to soak it all in.

Back at the farmhouse, Asha’s dad prepared his beloved horse, Hans, for a short carriage ride with Asha, Tom, and Ellie. Hans was adorned with flowers and looked absolutely magnificent. Watching the three of them ride together near the tent was one of those moments that felt straight out of a storybook.

As the evening unfolded, guests mingled around the property while the sun slowly dipped toward the horizon. Asha and Tom slipped away for golden hour portraits before heading under the tent for a delicious catered dinner.

During sunset, we set up an impromptu portrait booth, which quickly turned into one of the most fun parts of the evening. Guests jumped in for spontaneous photos, and the energy was lighthearted and joyful.

Once dinner wrapped up, the dancing began under the tent to a playlist curated by Asha and Tom themselves. With plenty of kids in attendance, the dance floor was full of movement, laughter, and pure happiness. And of course, ice cream made an appearance, which was a huge hit with guests of all ages.
Asha and Tom, thank you so much for trusting us to document such a meaningful day. Your wedding was an absolute joy to photograph, and your family and friends made it truly unforgettable.
Leave some love below, and until next time.
xo, Katlyn
