Jessica and Charlie’s wedding took place last fall on a picture-perfect autumn day at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts. With peak foliage, mild temperatures, and a warm seasonal glow, the day unfolded in a way that felt effortless, meaningful, and full of joy.
I started the early afternoon with Jessica as she got ready alongside her bridesmaids, mom, and grandmother. The mood was calm and happy, the kind of energy that instantly tells you it’s going to be a good day. Jessica was fully present, soaking everything in, smiling easily, and clearly excited for what was ahead.

At the same time, Sage was with Charlie and his groomsmen, where the energy was equally great. Lots of laughter, easy camaraderie, and that perfect mix of nerves and excitement as the day officially began.

Once we arrived at Brookmeadow, Jessica got dressed ahead of the ceremony while guests gathered near the gazebo, which was beautifully decorated with cascading florals and surrounded by vibrant fall color.

Jessica surprised Charlie in the best way possible by walking down the aisle to a stunning cover of “Great Fairy’s Fountain” from the Zelda video game series. If you know, you know. Charlie recognized it instantly and broke into the biggest smile, while Jessica gave him a playful little salute as she walked down the aisle with her parents. It was such a them moment.
Their ceremony struck the perfect balance between heartfelt and funny, and I’ll fully admit I teared up behind my camera.

After they said “I do,” Jessica and Charlie made their way back down the aisle to “Know That I Know” by Lake Street Dive, one of their favorite bands. They danced together at the end of the aisle while waiting for their wedding party to join them, which felt like the perfect way to kick off the celebration.
Once family portraits wrapped up, we were treated to the most beautiful sunset for couple portraits. Charlie had a hilarious vision for one shot, involving him laying on the ground while Jessica teed off a golf ball straight off of his face. I’m happy to report that it turned out perfectly, and Charlie agreed the second he saw it.

Inside, the night flowed effortlessly from introductions to their first dance and heartfelt toasts. After cake cutting and dinner, we snuck outside for a few nighttime portraits before the dance floor officially opened, and I’m always so glad when couples say yes to that extra little pause together.

Once the party started, their guests brought the energy all night long. When **“Pink Pony Club” came on, the cowboy hats and glitter made their grand appearance, and the entire room sang at the top of their lungs. It was one of those receptions where you could feel the joy everywhere you looked.

Jessica and Charlie, thank you so much for trusting me with your day. Your wedding was such a blast to photograph, and you two were an absolute joy to work with. Leave some love for the newlyweds below. Until next time… xo
